French Roulette (European)
Introduction
French roulette, also known as European roulette, is one of the most popular variations of roulette games.
The French roulette cylinder is comprised of 37 pockets, numbered from 1 to 36, with alternating black and red boxes.
As for the remaining box, it is coloured in green and numbered with zero.
Contrary to American roulette, French roulette does not contain any green box numbered with a double zero.
English Roulette (European)
Introduction
English roulette is a variation of the game of roulette, close to French roulette (which is also called European roulette).
The rules are easy to assimilate, for beginners as well as for more experimented players.
However, it is different from French roulette in certain areas: particularly, the number of players is limited to 8, while it is unlimited for French roulette.
Each player has a pile of chips with a specific colour that is unique to them, in order to prevent any error and confusion in the recognition of bets by the croupier.
American Roulette
Introduction
American roulette is one of the most renowned variations of the game of roulette: the rules are close to those for its counterpart called French roulette. However, the layout and configuration of the bets are different.
American roulette is played using a wheel with 38 pockets, and not 37 as you can find during French roulette games.
Those boxes are numbered from 1 to 36, alternating red and black. Two green cases remain, one being numbered with 0 and the other with 00.
