Guingamp vs Monaco Betting Preview
Monaco trails leading PSG by ten points with five rounds left and their chances to win the title in the French championship are slim to none. At the first look, it might seem like Monaco achieved great things one year after promoting to the top flight, but the management and fans had higher expectations.
As a result, Ranieri's position is not as solid as it seems and he's in dire need of a trophy, hence a victory over Guingamp in the Coupe de France's semifinal.

Guingamp vs Monaco Betting Tips
The visitors will be without their best player and prolific striker Falcao but this is no longer a novelty and Monaco proved that it can do just fine without the Columbian. They could certainly use his skills upfront, but with the likes of Riviere and Germain in the offense, they should still be more than a match for Guingamp.
The hosts have been struggling heavily this month and won just once in the last four rounds, which brought them dangerously close to the relegation area. They are still favorites to avoid this grim outcome, but with just five points behind them and Sochaux, Guingamp can't relax just yet.
This team has played a Coupe de France final five years ago and won it against Rennes, a team that they could be facing once again if they defeat Monaco. Their opponents haven't won the trophy in more than 20 years and their best attempt came in 2010 and when PSG got the best of them.
Guingamp will be without two of their best players, as neither Lionel nor Reynald Lemaitre are fit to play, which creates a big gap in their defense. By contrast, the visitors are virtually at full strength, with both James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho fit to play and in great form. Layvin Kurzawa has recently joined Falcao on the disabled list, but he is day to day and will play the final if Monaco wins tonight.
Key Facts
- Both Guingamp and Monaco promoted last season but their performance in 2014 is quite different and there is a huge gap of quality and form in favor of the latter
- Guingamp won just four times in the last 22 games and they were abysmal upfront, scoring few goals even against inferior opponents.
